PVC Adhesive – 2 Part, 250ml Tin

Polymarine 2 part PVC Adhesive, Used by life-raft service stations and major manufacturers. The most popular PVC glue that is used to repair PVC inflatable boats, SIBs and RIBs by boating enthusiasts.

* Used by liferaft service stations and major manufacturers

* Solvent based polyurethane adhesive giving excellent adhesion to both plasticised and unplasticised PVC

* Used in conjunction with A3695B curing agent will bond a wide variety of surfaces including PVC, nylon fabric, polyurethane fabric and foam

* RECOMMENDATION: Wipe both surfaces to be glued with Polymarine 2903 Primer & Cleaner - see below

* Use for repair of all PVC inflatables including Zodiac/Bombard "Dynalon" and "Strongon" fabrics and Narwhal/Valiant "Hypertex" (see Boat Fabric Type Table)

* Easy to mix two part supplied in sets with requisite amount of curing agent

* Can be used as a single part for quick temporary repairs

* Easy to apply by brush, roller or serrated trowel; contact bonds in 10-15 minutes, full cure 48 hours

* Shelf life - 24 months unopened tin; mixed adhesive has pot life of 3-4 hours

* Coverage. using 2 coats 1 litre bonds 1 square metre

Recommended: Polymarine 2903 Primer & Cleaner
As with all adhesives, following good repair practices means cleaning of the repair surface is essential to remove all traces of grease. We highly recommend that Polymarine 2903 Primer & Cleaner is used as it offers a deeper clean of the surface and its unique formula will Prime the surface prior to gluing, and cross link with the adhesive, resulting in a very strong repair. MEK and Acetone can be used, but we cannot guarantee that you will get the same results.
