Scheiber Bloc 7 is an analog input module that is one of the components of the Scheiber Multibloc network used in boats from Lagoon, CNB, Beneteau, Jeanneau, Monte Carlo, Prestige, etc.
Its main function is to accept up to 6 analog voltage inputs from various sensors, fuel, water, and holding tank sending units, batteries, current shunts, etc. The Bloc 7 converts those analog voltage values into to digital values, which it then broadcasts via CAN-bus to the Navicolor informational displays onboard. It can also accept up to 3 digital inputs, and is responsible for injecting power into the CAN-bus network cables, which distribute this power to the other Multibloc devices onboard, including the Navicolor display screens. Without power being supplied by the Bloc 7, other modules may not operate.
